I have always wanted to be a veterinarian. As a child, my parents always asked me what would I do if I could not become a vet. My answer was "If I can't be a vet, I'll be an animal doctor instead." - Dr. Glen

Dr. Glen grew up on the French island of Guadeloupe and has roots in St. Martin/St. Maarten (his father is originally from there). He left Guadeloupe at an early age to the United States to further his education. He attended Central Connecticut State University undergraduate program, as a Biology major, and graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.  He did his internship at the Tropicana Animal Hospital in Las Vegas and is licensed in three states in the U.S. (Georgia, Florida and Illinois).

Dr. Glen served on the board of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) for two years and is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). He enjoys internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and dentistry. He thinks it important to emphasize client education, which ultimately strengthens the human-animal bond.

When not at the office Dr. Glen enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and his pets.

Hi, my name is Katja and I have a double nationality- Dutch and Belgian. Animals have been the greatest love of my life. I have vast experience with horses and I have been training horses professionally all my life. In January 2018 I decided to stop actively horsetraning and competing. My other hobbies include: travelling, sports, salsa dancing, acting, reading and writing books. In February 2018 I came with my lazy rescue dog to Sint-Maarten. I really enjoy working with and helping animals. My favorite is emergency care and assisting with surgery.

Hello I am Fokelien from Holland.

In January 2011 I came to SXM with my husband. In the same month we adopted our dog Diesel.

As hobbies , I like to be in the open air to run, bike or have a walk with Diesel and watch the sunrise over the ocean.

The sea here is much more blue as it was in Holland.

My first job was here at the Animal Hospital and I like to work with beautiful and interesting people and animals.
Every day gives something new to experience and interestingly not a day is ever the same.
So I hope to meet you and your pet soon at the Animal Hospital of Sint-Maarten.
